KEVIN PLATT Kevin Platt was born in Manchester in 1945. He studied at Oldham School of Art and at Manchester College of Arts. His skills lead him to start his own business in Manchester concentrating on Graphic Design and Advertising. He first came to live and work in Cornwall in the mid 1960’s and totally fell in love with the different moods and landscapes of this special county, and it was from here that he began to capture the nostalgic images of a bygone world. In addition to his versatile painting techniques Kevin has vast experience in both graphic and textile design having worked for all the top cruise liners, theme parks and major retail outlets in the U.K. Kevin specialises in winter scenes.
